Switch contact arc extinguishing grease

SEIVIO Swilub Y242 switch contact grease is based on a fully synthetic base oil and thickened with a special soap base. ‌It is a special grease specially designed for electrical switch contacts. Its core function is to suppress arcs, reduce contact resistance, reduce contact wear, and greatly extend the service life of switch equipment.

• The contacts are closed to form an extremely thin oil film. Relying on the quantum tunneling effect, the current can be smoothly conducted and the contact resistance is reduced;
• When the contacts are disconnected, the oil film becomes thicker, which acts as an insulating isolation and suppresses arc generation;
• The oil film isolates air and water vapor to prevent oxidation and sulfide corrosion of copper/silver contacts;
• It is well compatible with contact metals such as copper and silver, as well as most thermoplastics, and will not cause corrosion or material damage.

Suitable for medium and high current switch contacts, 15-50A current AC and DC switches (boat switch, micro switch, button switch, toggle switch, thermostatic switch, rocker switch, rotary switch).
