Tungsten Disulfide High-Temperature Grease

SEIVIO Hitalub W233 Tungsten Disulfide High-Temperature Grease is a specialty grease formulated with synthetic base oil, an inorganic thickener and tungsten disulfide solid powder as its principal extreme-pressure and friction-reducing additive. It is designed for severe operating conditions involving high temperatures, heavy loads and shock loads.

• Strong extreme-pressure and antiwear performance, a low coefficient of friction and resistance to shock loads; suitable for low-speed, heavily loaded mechanisms.
• Maintains shear stability and durability under very high pressures and temperatures.
• Resists thinning and melting at high temperatures, remaining tacky and in place.
• Tungsten disulfide has a coefficient of friction as low as 0.03-0.05 and greater thermal stability than molybdenum disulfide.

Suitable for heavily loaded metallurgical equipment, including high-temperature bearings and gears in blast-furnace electromagnetic stirrers, converter trunnions, continuous casters and high-pressure rolling mills. Industrial high-temperature applications include tunnel-kiln car bearings, heat-treatment lines, baking-equipment chains and furnace-door gears operating at elevated temperatures for extended periods. Other severe-duty applications include mining machinery, heavily loaded chemical-process drives and corrosion-prone friction pairs exposed to steam, acids or alkalis.
