Orbital Communications Satellite Grease

SEIVIO Aerolub R091 space orbit communication satellite grease is refined from PFPE base oil, nano-scale PTFE thickening, and adding polymers, antioxidants, anti-corrosion and other additives. It is a space-grade special perfluoropolyether (PFPE)-based ultra-low outgassing grease specially designed for LEO/MEO/GEO orbital communication satellites. It is used to ensure long-term reliable operation of satellite precision motion mechanisms in the extreme environment of space.

• Extremely low outgassing (low volatility): There will be no large amounts of volatilization or oil separation under the high vacuum of space;
• Resist cosmic rays, ultraviolet rays, and atomic oxygen erosion, and are not prone to aging and decomposition;
• It is not easy to crawl and will not migrate around to pollute other devices on the star under microgravity;
• Chemically inert, does not react with metals or sealing materials.

Applicable to antenna mechanisms: antenna deployment hinges, antenna pointing/tracking heads, waveguide switches, tuners, solar wings (SADA): solar panel drive bearings, deployment locking mechanisms, attitude control: momentum wheel/reaction wheel bearings, gyroscopes, control moment gyros, others: on-board valves, precision actuators, small harmonic reducers and other kinematic pairs.
